First, vacuum upholstery and carpets thoroughly. Dilute the cleaner 1:10 with water, apply, and gently work in with a brush or sponge. For stubborn stains, treat it undiluted. Follow with clean water. Immediately vacuum with a wet vacuum cleaner or let it dry, and then vacuum thoroughly.

5-15% anionic surfactants, <5% phosphates.
